I had a great stay. Met the owners husband whom was very freindly the room was okay for myself I only passed out drunk and was able to sleep without anyone waking me up. if you are fat and over weight don't stay here becauce you have to walk up stairs, I loved the charm and warm feeling of a building that was built in 1898. I will stay again when I am back in Montreal.

The food in the hotel restaurant was very good and well priced, but the room had only one foot of space on each side and foot of the bed - and the bed was very old with squeaky springs, and you had to walk up three flights of stairs carrying luggage - no elevator.

The hotel doesn't impress me at the beginning. Room is small and old and you can only get internet in the small lobby. However, once I get used to it, I start to like it. Very close to downtown and old Montreal; the hosts are welcoming and helpful; Free breakfast is one of the best I have ever had. It's a pretty good choice if you don't want to spend much money but still enjoy your vacation by walking to any attraction. However, if you are gonna spend a lot of time in the hotel, probably it's not a good choice.
